Shiphrah and Puah: Faithfulness in the Midst of Oppression

                  At CFWBC this past Sunday, I started preaching through the book of Exodus.  Best known for describing Israelite deliverance from Egyptian bondage (chaps. 1-19) and outlining God’s covenant at Mt. Sinai with His chosen people (chaps. 20-40); this book includes many favorite bible characters – Pharaoh, Moses, Aaron, Miriam, Jethro and Joshua.

Closed Doors

So many of my friends and family lately have struggled through difficult times. It seems as if prayers have been lifted up about everything, from job opportunities to relationships to health concerns. The result, “closed doors”.
